DPU1044NT - Networked 4 Doors Controller - Datasheet
These Networked controllers are the best solution for the basic Access Control system. They have an unlimited growth potential and have features and capabilities same as other products that cost more than double. They combine both Fast Ethernet TCP/IP communication and RS485, in case needed.
Advantages of using this model:
- Cost – The best value. Competitive pricing with full features.
- Infrastructure – Can connect to existing network infrastructure, saving a lot of work on wiring.
- WTC485 Wireless Transceiver – for wireless communication. Each WTC485 can connect up to 100 controllers, but, usually it is used for single controller or few in close proximity.
Disadvantages compared to DPU3000 controllers:
- No PoE – Standard network cable require a Power Supply
- Firmware – DPU1000NT has about 85% of the more advanced features available in DPU3000 models.
